Oh, hi there, I am Mindy
Hello everyone, I am Mindy.
MMus from the University of British Columbia. Music Teacher, Musician, and Art Event Coordinator.
I graduated from the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, Canada) with a bachelor's degree in and a master's degree in Music. After graduation, I was working as a performer and an education in Canada and Macau. I returned back to Taiwan in 2012, working as an international music programme coordinator at the National Theater and Concert Hall. I was responsible for being the head coordinator for the "NTCH Summer Jazz Festival" and coordinating both international and local music performance programs, including planning the international music programs for the "Taiwan International Festival of Arts" and the local music programs for the "Young Stars Series". I later transferred my position to be an arts education coordinator, participating and founding the "NTCH Arts Playland - Toddler Series" and "NTCH Arts Playland - Senior Series", the very first arts educational series classes at the NTCH, and received my TESOL children and advanced certifications in 2015. In addition, I had worked as the Project Manager at the MUZIK classical music magazine, appointed as an tutti player at the Taipei Philharmonic Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra, Evergreen Symphony Orchestra, and National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra, and invited as an orchestral sectional and chamber music coach at the Taipei American School.
In 2016, I started working at the KangChiao International School East China Campus, as a music teacher and the music head teacher in the international division, teaching General Music class, Audio Sound Production, KCIS Student Orchestra French Horn Sectional Coach, and Chamber Music. Furthermore, I completed and received the District of Columbia Teaching Certificate in 2018.
I returned to Taiwan in 2019, currently living in Tainan with my husband and our dog.
